About Altiné

Quietly becoming, with Allah at the center.

Assalamu Alaikum and welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Altiné a Nigerian Muslim woman, mama of three boys, seeker of ihsan, and the writer behind this little corner of the internet. This blog is where I document my journey of becoming: not in a loud, hurried way but gently, inwardly, and with intentional surrender.

For years, I’ve carried stories, reflections, and lessons in my heart waiting for the right moment to give them shape and space. My blog Becoming with Altiné is that space. A soul sanctuary for Muslims who are walking back to themselves, back to Allah, and toward the version of them they would be proud to look back on, on Yawm al-Qiyamah InshAllah.

What You’ll Find Here

This blog is part personal reflection, part spiritual reminder, and part love letter to the sacredness of everyday life.

You’ll find writings and resources on:

Barakah Living: nurturing the heart, mind, soul, and body with faith-centered care

Growth & Self-Cultivation: building habits, healing inwardly, pursuing discipline and balance

Motherhood & Womanhood: honest reflections from the messy, beautiful middle of it all

Worship & Deen: reminders, Qur’an reflections, and tools to reconnect with your Rabb

Free Resources: planners, guides, and intentional tools created to support your journey

A Bit More About Me

I’m a recovering perfectionist, lover of beautiful words, and a woman learning to honour her feminine strength while seeking softness in her surrender. I’ve worked in law, environment, and design but my heart always circles back to writing, nurturing, and sharing what’s real.

I believe in:

  • The power of small, sincere steps
  • The sacredness of motherhood
  • Rizq in all its forms…seen and unseen, from wealth to well-being, provision to purpose
  • And becoming, not in the worldly sense, but in the way the soul quietly unfolds when it remembers Who it belongs to.

Let’s Rise and Become the Best Versions of Ourselves, Together

Whether you read one post or stay for the journey, know that I don’t write from a place of having arrived. I’m still in the middle… healing, hoping, resetting, and trying again….and again and returning to our Most Merciful Rabb.

I believe there is barakah in trying.
And mercy in returning.
And joy in becoming.

Thank you for being here. May this space bring light to your heart, and barakah to your path.
